More than 100 Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Practice Areas Ranked in Tier 1 of 2019 Edition of U.S. News - Best Lawyers® "Best Law Firms" Report

PITTSBURGH – November 1, 2018 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney received top-tier national and metropolitan practice rankings in the 2019 edition of U.S. News - Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" report. Specifically, 14 of the firm's practice areas rank in the national Tier 1 category, with 27 areas ranked nationally across all tiers. Additionally, the report ranks 87 of the firm's practice areas in the metropolitan Tier 1 category with a total of 124 areas recognized across all tiers.

The 2019 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and highest number of client votes received on record. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer recognized first in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top five percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. Over 16,000 lawyers provided more than 1,125,000 law firm assessments, and almost 12,000 clients provided more than 107,000 evaluations.
