DESCRIPTION:

We have an immediate need for an Antitrust Litigation Associate with 4-5 years of experience.  The candidate will have experience in antitrust counseling and M&A including governmental litigation with the DOJ, FTC and Attorneys General.  The successful candidate will work with attorneys in Buchanan’s nationwide litigation practice group. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong research and writing skills.

We have an immediate opening in our Washington, DC office for an associate with 3-4 years of experience handling international trade matters including antidumping and countervailing duty investigations before both the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission.   Candidates with strong experience in regard to antidumping investigations before the Department of Commerce, including questionnaire response analysis, are preferred.  Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong research and writing skills and be admitted to practice in Washington, DC.

We have an immediate opening in for a mid-level Corporate Finance Associate with experience handling general corporate matters including M&A, equity/debt financing transactions and corporate governance counseling.  Experience with capital markets transactions or SEC compliance is a plus.  Candidates must possess at least 4 years of experience in this area, have strong drafting and negotiation skills, and deal team experience.  Strong communication skills, attention to detail, a commitment to client service and the ability to multi-task and appropriately prioritize matters are also essential.  Qualified candidates can be resident in our Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Tampa or New York office.  State Bar required depending on location.  All applications must be accompanied by a cover letter, resume, transcript and writing sample.

We have an immediate opening in our Washington, DC office for an associate lawyer or analyst with 4 years or more of experience handling antidumping and countervailing duty investigations before both the US Department of Commerce and the US International Trade Commission.   Candidates should have strong experience with antidumping investigations before the Department of Commerce, including questionnaire response analysis.  JD’s preferred, but we are also willing to consider non-JD’s with the appropriate experience.  Candidates must have excellent academic credentials along with strong research and writing skills.  Attorney candidates must be admitted to practice in Washington, DC or be eligible to waive in.

We have an immediate opening in our Miami, FL office for a Commercial Litigation Attorney with experience in Florida federal and state courts. The candidate will have 8 - 10 years of experience. The successful candidate will work exclusively for one shareholder in our Miami office, managing their ever growing portfolio of complex litigation matters. We are looking to work with an attorney that is ready, willing and able to manage and take charge of multiple cases, take the lead role in developing and implementing legal strategy, managing associates, including review of written work product, and delivering exceptional results through both persuasive legal memoranda, analysis and reasoning, as well as on their feet in-court oral advocacy.
