We have an immediate opening in our Pittsburgh office for a junior associate attorney to join our thriving bankruptcy team.  This position will provide challenging and interesting legal assignments within a fast-paced, team-focused environment.  The ideal candidate will:

  • possess excellent academic credentials, a strong work ethic and first-rate research and drafting skills;
  • have experience or education in bankruptcy and creditors rights, as well as secured transactions;

Patent Agent
(Alexandria, VA)

LEVEL:

Previous electrical engineering and/or computer science experience preferred.

DESCRIPTION:

We have an immediate opening in our Alexandria office for a patent agent with a degree in electrical engineering or computer science.  This position requires the ability to think critically, to quickly understand new technologies and to write well.  Candidates would preferably have some patent drafting and prosecution experience, but experience is not required.  Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, drafting patent applications and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and patent offices around the world.  Candidates must be already registered to practice before the USPTO or be willing to sit for the registration exam.  All applications must be accompanied by a cover letter, resume, and college transcript(s).
