Preserving the Record and Preparing for Appeal
During the trial stage, our appellate attorneys work with trial counsel and you to properly preserve the record for appellate review, advise on the practicality of pursuing an appeal, and assist with dispositive trial court briefs and jury instructions. With our depth of experience in the appellate process, we can calculate appellate odds and advise you when an appeal is worthwhile or when you should consider settlement.
During the appellate stage, our attorneys research and write persuasive and effective appellate briefs, as well as petitions seeking discretionary review from the U.S. Supreme Court and other appellate courts. Our appellate attorneys have obtained mandamus and other emergency relief from appellate courts and effectively opposed mandamus petitions and requests for emergency relief brought by opposing parties.
