Christopher is an experienced commercial litigator who focuses his practice on defending clients in products liability, premises liability, environmental regulatory, and professional liability matters. With his diverse practice, he has assisted clients in the chemical, mining, pharmaceutical, automotive, and energy industries before federal and state administrative agencies and courts across the nation.

Prior to joining Buchanan, Christopher was at a national law firm where he litigated personal injury and property damage claims associated with toxic torts and products liability. He also has experience defending professional liability, medical malpractice, general liability and nursing home and long-term care cases. He has counseled clients to ensure environmental regulatory compliance under the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and state environmental statutes. Additionally, Christopher has handled matters involving commercial tenant evictions, condominium and town home associations, and Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy.

At the beginning of his legal career, Chris served as a law clerk to The Honorable Arthur Bergman in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division.

I most enjoy going to court and fighting for my clients. I will use any legal tactic to best support my client’s objectives, but my love for the profession comes from litigating in a courtroom.

Outside the Office

Chris loves a good adventure which is why he is an avid traveler, and experienced snowboarder, skydiver and motorcycle rider. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and is dedicated to his local community by volunteering his free time to further the initiatives of his organization.
