Alexis Langella focuses her practice on a wide range of health care related services, including litigation, regulatory and compliance matters. Alexis has experience counseling clients on complex regulatory/compliance issues, conducting internal investigations of fraud and abuse and developing policies and procedures. Alexis also represents skilled nursing facilities in professional liability litigation. With a hybrid practice and experience in both litigation and compliance, Alexis is able to represent her client’s interests across a broad spectrum.
Prior to joining Buchanan, Alexis gained valuable experience in mass tort and pharmaceutical litigation, acting as local counsel for the largest generic drug manufacturer with over 2,000 cases in the Philadelphia mass tort program. Alexis also gained experience in various realms of civil defense litigation, defending clients at arbitrations, mediations and settlement negotiations, arguing dispositive motions and participating in all aspects of discovery.
Alexis was selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list in 2015, 2017 and 2018.
Upon receiving her law degree, Alexis served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Paul Innes, Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, in Mercer County.
