The decision to go public with her accusation against Dominique Strauss-Kahn could be damaging to Nafissatou Diallo's case, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney White-Collar Defense Attorney Stuart Slotnick told the UK's Guardian, calling the move "outrageous."

"She's violating all the rules. There aren't many cases where the victim goes on the PR offensive; usually it's the defendant," Slotnick said of Diallo's interviews with ABC and Newsweek.

Slotnick added that ABC and Newsweek would likely be subpoenaed by Strauss-Kahn's defense team and the district attorney's office as the interviews could serve as evidence.
