John F. Povilaitis and Alan M. Seltzer were noted in a recent Law360 for representing West Penn Power Company in its defense of a proposed settlement in a case involving the death of a customer due to a fallen power line. The case is currently before the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PaPUC).

Povilaitis and Seltzer filed legal and substantive arguments defending the proposed settlement and objecting to the use of confidential settlement communications by the settlement opponents, reported the article.

The PaPUC is expected to decide the case this fall.
