Carly is a zealous advocate with a servant’s heart. She is detail-oriented and aims to keep clients well-informed on matters, working in their best interests.

Experience

During law school, Carly worked as a tutor for Legal Writing, Leadership, Experiential Learning, Advocacy, and Professionalism 1-2 and as an Upper-Level Writing Tutor. Carly also served as Vice President of both the Student Health Law Association and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Carly had the opportunity to assist Dean Michael Scharf as a Research Fellow for the I.C.C. Moot Court Competition, The Hague, Netherlands. Carly participated on both the Jonathan M. Ault Mock Trial Team and the National Moot Court Team, winning second best brief in the regional competition.

A Pittsburgh native, Carly was thrilled to work as a full-time Legal Extern for the Pittsburgh Penguins during her final semester of law school, earning the Clinical Legal Education Association Outstanding Externship Student Award.

Carly was a member of Buchanan’s 2020 Summer Associate Program. Prior to joining the Firm, Carly worked as a Law Clerk and a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Judge Gregory L. Taddonio, working for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Outside the Office

In her free time, Carly enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, playing tennis, playing piano, singing, trying new restaurants in and around the city, and acting as a mentor and volunteer in the community and at both Case Western Reserve University School of Law and Duquesne University.
