Harrisburg, PA, January 10, 2011 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC has expanded its Energy Practice with three lawyers from Ryan, Russell, Ogden & Seltzer PC, a Central Pennsylvania law firm that focused extensively on energy, water, renewables and utility as well as telecommunications matters.

Alan M. Seltzer, co-founding partner of Ryan, Russell, Ogden & Seltzer PC, join the firm as shareholder, as does John F. Povilaitis.

Seltzer and Povilaitis have handled the largest and most complex regulatory proceedings and transactions over the course of three decades. They were integral in crafting the Pennsylvania statute that restructured the electric industry and have litigated dozens of rate cases for major utility clients.
