PHILADELPHIA (December 2022) – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues its strategic growth with the addition of Jared Johnson, a shareholder in its tax section. He joins the firm’s Philadelphia office. As an attorney and certified public accountant (CPA), he provides tax representation and guidance on complex tax laws and disputes, corporate and pass-through transactions, reporting, asset protection, and cross-border issues.

“We are pleased to welcome Jared to our tax section,” said Lisa Starczewski, shareholder and chair of the firm’s tax section. “With his extensive legal and accounting experience, Jared will be an asset to our clients nationwide, bringing additional depth to our talented team of business tax lawyers.”

Johnson counsels businesses throughout their life cycle from incubation and startup through growth and sale or dissolution. He provides strategic direction on planning, restructuring, drafting, and reporting for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and pass-through entities.
