Tampa, FL - Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Yova A. Borovska and Scott A. Underwood were recognized as 2013 Up and Comers by the Tampa Bay Business Journal.  Ms. Borovska was recognized in the under 30 category and Mr. Underwood was recognized in the under 40 category.  The Up & Comer award honors rising professionals in the Tampa Bay area who are committed to excellence in both their work and community environments.

Ms. Borovska is an associate in the Immigration Practice Group.  She concentrates her practice in the area of immigration.  She handles all aspects of immigration law, including temporary visa processing, applications for permanent residence and naturalization, defense in removal proceedings, and applications for waivers of inadmissibility.  Ms. Borovska received her B.A. from Eckerd College and her J.D., cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law.

Mr. Underwood is a shareholder and leads the firm’s statewide Business Litigation Practice Group as well as the Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice.  He has experience in bankruptcy, distressed business situations, and business workouts, with a focus on Chapter 11 bankruptcies and related litigation.  He has represented clients in bankruptcy cases, insolvency related litigation, director and officer liability litigation, assignments for the benefit of creditors, receiverships, and out of court workouts and restructurings.  Mr. Underwood received his B.S. from the University of Florida and his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
