Leslie Gromis Baker, Co-Chair and Managing Director of the firm's State and Federal Government Relations, comments on how the Pennsylvania Governor's race candidates' business backgrounds and experiences may shape their leadership in a government setting in Pittsburgh Business Times' article "Where Wolf and Wagner Stand on Business Issues."

"Their business experiences impact their philosophy on how jobs should be created, what role government should or should not play," added Leslie Gromis Baker, Pittsburgh-based co-chair and managing director of the state and federal government relations practice at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC. "Their policy will be driven by their life experiences in the corporate world. What they can get accomplished as governor will come into play through negotiations with legislators and what is feasible to be accomplished. We have three branches of government, and the governor can't say, 'This is what we're going to do.'"
