The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Secret Service and the United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania will host an exclusive Cybersecurity Forum being held in conjunction with the President’s Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection at Stanford University on February 13, 2015.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to watch the Summit on Cybersecurity and Consumer Protection live. The Summit will host a variety of speakers including Apple Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook, USSS Deputy Director A.T. Smith, FBI Assistant Director Joseph M. Demarest Jr., and many other major stakeholders on cybersecurity and consumer financial protection issues including senior leaders from across the federal government, Chief Executive Officers from a wide range of industries, law enforcement officials, consumer advocates and technical experts.

The Pittsburgh National Cybersecurity Forum will be held on February 13, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the University of Pittsburgh’s O’Hara Student Center at 4024 O’Hara Street, Pittsburgh, PA. Paid parking is available at Soldiers and Sailors Garage and O'Hara Street Garage, and on-street parking (for up to four hours). Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's Matthew H. Meade will participate as a panelist.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear speakers from their local Cyber Task Force and Electronic Crimes Task Force, discuss current public-private partnership opportunities and learn more about how the U.S. government works to identify, pursue, and defeat cyber threats. Participants will join local panelists to discuss public-private collaboration on cybersecurity and improving cybersecurity practices.
