How Sydney Helps Clients
Sydney is a member of Buchanan’s Healthcare Section.
Sydney was a summer associate in Buchanan’s Philadelphia office. She is a graduate of Emory University School of Law, where she was a member of the Public Interest Dinner series and a managing editor of the International Law Review.
During law school, Sydney worked as an extern with Tubi, Inc., where she researched international privacy laws to help prepare Tubi for their launch in the United Kingdom. Sydney also served as a research assistant for the Uniform Law Commission, meeting with task force and state commissioners as they considered the need for uniform pandemic laws and drafting comprehensive memorandum on state emergency laws, state responses to COVID-19, and price-gouging.
Prior to receiving her law degree, Sydney worked as an intern with the Lancaster County Drug Court, and spent a summer working at Atlanta Legal Aid, where she assisted the Disability Integration Project.
What Clients Can Expect
Sydney is diligent, detail oriented, and committed to achieving her clients’ objectives. Sydney is focused on meeting the needs of her clients and works tirelessly to develop and execute plans to meet those needs. Sydney is comprehensive in her work, regardless of the complexity of the issues at hand.
Outside the Office
In her free time, Sydney enjoys spending time with friends and family (including pets!), trying new workout classes, and traveling as much as she can. Sydney is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Sydney enjoys exploring the city as much as she can. This includes devouring the Philadelphia food scene and attending new events and exhibits in the city; however, Sydney’s favorite thing to do in Philadelphia will always be going to an Eagles game.
Outside of her law practice, Sydney also likes to keep up with the intersection of law and psychology, which she finds very interesting. She enjoys reading and learning about developments in the field in her free time. Sydney also likes to volunteer her time at various organizations around the city, from packing necessities in warehouses to driving and delivering food to those in need.
