How Sydney Helps Clients

Sydney also assists ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) with drafting organizational and operational documents, such as delineation of privileges forms, bylaws, and rules and regulations.

Additionally, Sydney assists health systems with various transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, affiliations, joint ventures, and other strategic affiliations, and drafts related agreements. Sydney also advises various healthcare entities on corporate issues, including physician recruitment in accordance with the Stark Law and structuring of physician-related arrangements.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Sydney was a summer associate in Buchanan’s Philadelphia office. While attending Emory University School of Law, Sydney worked as an extern with Tubi, Inc., where she researched data privacy laws, and served as a research assistant for the Uniform Law Commission, meeting with task forces and state commissioners regarding uniform pandemic laws and drafting memorandum on state emergency laws and price-gouging. Sydney also interned at Atlanta Legal Aid, served as a managing editor of Emory’s International Law Review, and was a member of Emory Law’s Public Interest Dinner series.
