Stuart Slotnick Successfully Represents 50% Owner-Intervenor in NYC Real Property Dispute
Stuart Slotnick, managing shareholder of the New York City office, successfully represented a 50% owner-intervenor in a NYC real property dispute. The defendant in the underlying action had attempted to deprive our client of her half of the property, and after defendant’s attempts to prevent our client from intervening in the action to protect her interest failed, defendant proceeded to engage in numerous underhanded tactics to accomplish that aim. However, during a five-day trial, under a blistering cross examination by Slotnick, Defendant was figuratively dismembered, which the Court acknowledged in its post-trial decision. A motion for sanctions remains pending against Defendant for asserting frivolous litigation practices.
