Billboard Magazine Quotes Stuart Slotnick After He Secures a Dismissal of Complaint Against Former Punk Rock Anti-Flag Band Members
Stuart Slotnick and Natalie Peled secured a win for Former Punk Rock Anti-Flag Band Members. The cross-country Buchanan Team recently prevailed on behalf of his clients Pat Thetic , Chris Head and Chris Barker, former members of the band Anti-Flag, with a dismissal on all claims from plaintiff Kristina Sarhadi. Sarhadi sued former lead singer of Anti-Flag Justin Sane (born Justin Geever), accusing him of assault and sexual battery, and she alleged that the other band members should have known about Geever’s conduct and failed to put a stop to it. Team Buchanan filed a motion to dismiss the claims against his clients in the Northern District of New York, and Judge Brenda K. Sannes granted the motion to dismiss. Stuart told Billboard about his clients: “They have had no contact with Geever at all (nor do they wish to) since the sexual assault allegations came to light. They were shocked to hear the complaints. We were very happy that the judge recognized that the three former members of the band had nothing to do with Geever or his misdeeds.”
