Buchanan Shareholder Jeremy G. Garvey recently had an article published in teQ Magazine where he talks about failure. “Should we avoid it? Should we fear it? Should we celebrate it?” he writes. Using three examples, Garvey describes how event the smartest of the smart fail. What he poses as the true failure is the inability to make decisions.

“Too often, I see business people who believe the hard issues will resolve themselves,” he writes. “Kicking the can down the road is decision making by avoidance and ultimately the worst kind of failure – the kind that should be avoided, not celebrated and feared.”
