On September 23, Patrick C. Keane, shareholder in Buchanan’s Intellectual Property section, served as a moderator for Part I of the “Current State of the Law under 35 U.S.C. 101, and Use of Fact and Expert Witnesses at the PTAB: Costs, Strategies, and Pitfalls” webinar. This panel consisted of U.S. Patent Office officials and a former USPTO Director who will address two cases that have altered the state of the law of patentable subject matter under 35 U.S.C. 101.
