How Nicole Helps Clients

Nicole advises companies on a variety of corporate matters. She primarily focuses on public company matters, including assisting companies with respect to financing and capital markets transactions, federal and state securities filings and disclosures, and corporate governance structure, policies, and practices. Nicole also assists in both buy and sell-side merger and acquisition transactions and commercial contract and licensing matters.

During her time as an Associate at Buchanan, Nicole has been involved in several capital markets transactions and asset deals throughout various industries where she has worked closely and directly with client company teams, which have given her valuable tools to apply to her client-relations approach.

While in law school at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, Nicole was an active member of the Law Review as a Junior Staff Member and then as an Executive Board Member.  She also played an integral role in assisting her professor to write and file an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court and has received several awards for her research and writing, including 4 CALI Excellence for the Future Awards and the Best Brief Award.

What Clients Can Expect

Nicole is an attentive and dedicated advocate who is committed to finding her clients a desirable solution. Clients can be confident that their needs are heard by Nicole and that she will be effective and efficient in her work.

Nicole’s education and experience have trained her to become extremely detail-oriented and have shaped her work ethic to be persistent yet flexible. Additionally, Nicole’s prior experience as a Legal Intern at Maxim Crane Works, L.P., provided her with the opportunity to take part in several in-house corporate matters, giving her a different perspective and the ability to relate more deeply with clients as she serves their corporate needs.

Outside the Office

In her free time, Nicole loves to spend quality time with her husband, family, and friends. She is a dog lover and a true Pittsburgh girl at heart but also loves to travel and go boating on the lake at her family cabin in Tionesta during the summer.

As a Penn State graduate, Nicole is a huge Penn State football fan and is a deep supporter of Penn State THON.  She visits the campus for the Childhood Cancer Dance Marathon weekend every year and makes sure she gets to at least one football game per season in Happy Valley.
