How Nicole Helps Clients

Nicole is an associate in the firm’s Corporate, Finance, and Technology section. She is a graduate of the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University and of Pennsylvania State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science.

While in law school at Duquesne, Nicole was an active member of the Law Review as a Junior Staff Member and then as an Executive Board Member.  She also played an integral role in assisting her professor to write and file an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court and has received several awards for her research and writing.

These experiences have provided Nicole with communication skills to effectively and proactively connect with clients.  She is driven to address client concerns and will work tirelessly to find the right solution. During her time as a Summer Associate at Buchanan, Nicole was involved in several client matters throughout various practice groups in the firm, which have given her valuable tools to apply to her client-relations approach.

What Clients Can Expect

Nicole is an attentive and dedicated advocate who is committed to finding her clients a desirable solution. Clients can be confident that their needs are heard by Nicole and that she will be effective and efficient in her work.

Nicole’s experience as a Research Assistant for a Duquesne Law Professor and as an Executive Student Articles Editor for Duquesne’s Law Review has helped her become extremely detail-oriented and has shaped her work ethic to be persistent yet flexible. Additionally, Nicole’s prior experience as a Legal Intern at Maxim Crane Works, L.P. provided her with the opportunity to take part in several in-house corporate matters.

Outside the Office

In her free time, Nicole loves to spend quality time with her family, friends, and her big yellow lab, Kaos. She is a true Pittsburgh girl at heart, but also loves to travel and go boating on the lake at her family camp in Tionesta during the summer.

Nicole is a huge Penn State football fan and is a deep supporter of Penn State THON.  She visits the campus for the Childhood Cancer Dance Marathon weekend every year and makes sure she gets to at least one football game per season in Happy Valley.
