Stuart P. Slotnick, managing shareholder of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney's New York office and vice chair of the firm's Business Litigation and Trial Practice group, was quoted in an article published in the December 13, 2009, edition of the New York Post. The article, titled "Music boss 'fiddled' funds," reported on the case against former Director of the Bronx Conservatory of Music Richard Miller who allegedly stole $40,000 from the nonprofit, which offers low-cost lessons to the underprivileged.

Slotnick, who has taken the case on pro bono, weighed in saying, "This is an outrageous abuse of his position."

Slotnick is representing the conservatory alongside fellow Buchanan Litigation attorney Leslie J. Harris.
