How Minji Helps Clients
Minji counsels and defends clients with respect to a wide range of labor and employment issues, including wrongful termination, single-plaintiff discrimination and retaliation, leave, wage and hour, and restrictive covenants. She also regularly defends claims before state and federal agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and state and city Human Rights/Relations Commissions. Minji’s practice also includes diversity and inclusion strategy and compliance reviews, internal investigations, drafting employment agreements, and drafting policies and employee handbooks tailored to each employer’s industry and geographic needs. Minji also has experience in bringing and defending employment related tort claims such as defamation and tortious interference.
Minji has been with the firm since she was a summer associate. Prior to joining the firm, Minji served as a Program Director managing a federal agency contract program. She also served as an Equity Fellow in Boston University School of Law’s Student Affairs office and completed legal externships with the Office of the General Counsel at the Executive Office of Human and Health Services of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts General Brigham Research Institute, and a boutique law firm. Minji also previously served as an editor for the American Journal of Law and Medicine and has authored multiple publications in the same.

Outside the Office
Minji is a proud first-generation Korean American immigrant and a 2020 recipient of the Don H. Liu Scholarship. She has worked abroad in Korea and Spain and is professionally proficient in both languages. A retired competitive powerlifter, she continues to train recreationally and also enjoys painting and linocut printmaking outside of the office.
