Raquel (Rocky) Rodriguez, shareholder in the firm's Litigation section, Mike Harrell, chair of the firm's Florida State Government Relations section, and Liz Westbrook, senior advisor in the firm's Government Relations section, presented Life (Sciences) after the Elections— What the Policy Future holds?​ for the 2020 BioFlorida Virtual Conference. 

The 60-minute roundtable discussion focused on the upcoming election and the potential impact it will have on Life Sciences, the FDA, Pharma and more.  

Topics discussed include:

• State of the Race
• Trump vs. Biden: Where each of the candidates stand on funding research, FDA approvals, pharma pricing, reimbursements and more.
• ​Florida Budget Challenges: The possible impacts on Life Sciences including research funding, university funding, incentives and taxes.
