How Kellen Helps Clients
Kellen is an associate in Buchanan’s Corporate Finance and Technology group where he focuses on a variety of corporate and transactional matters. He is also a member of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy group, where he helps clients with their cybersecurity posture and data privacy issues.
Kellen is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was a Managing Editor of the Journal of Law and Commerce and had his student note published in Volume 42 of the Journal. He was also a Pitt Law Ambassador and member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Kellen is also a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Management and his Master of Science in International Relations.
During law school, Kellen was a Summer Associate at Buchanan and was also a Legal Intern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
Before law school, Kellen worked for two years at a global management consulting firm in their cybersecurity group, helping clients with their cybersecurity challenges and their regulatory compliance.

Kellen is detail oriented in his approach to client service and aims to fully understand his clients’ needs through clear communication to provide them with the best outcome.
Outside the Office
Kellen is a native Pittsburgher and is a diehard fan of the Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates. He loves sports and enjoys playing golf, ice hockey, running, cycling and scuba diving. Kellen also loves traveling to new destinations across the world, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
