Jill Lashay, Shareholder in Buchanan's Labor and Employment section, will present a webinar titled, “Understanding the Impact of the DOL’s Anticipated Changes to the Exempt Employee Classification” to the Pennsylvania Council of Children, Youth & Family Services on June 8, 2016. Her presentation will discuss the Department of Labor’s proposed changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act’s minimum weekly salary rate for exempt employees. She will advise webinar participants of the anticipated time-table for issuance of the final rule and enforcement action by the DOL. She will also provide insight regarding how employers in the human services industry should plan to meet these new compliance obligations.
