Hair, Race, and the Law: A Black History Month CLE on New C.R.O.W.N. Act Protections
Join us on February 25, 2026 to observe Black History Month with a meaningful event centered on progress in racial justice, viewed through the perspective of legal advocacy. This special program will highlight recent developments in the C.R.O.W.N. Act—a groundbreaking law tackling racialized hair discrimination—and its crucial contribution to fostering dignity, respect, and equality for Black professionals and students.
With insights from our esteemed panel, attendees will explore the legal significance of the law, recent developments, research findings, and advocacy efforts at the city, state, and national levels.
This program has been approved for 1.0 Ethics CLE credit for PA, and 1.0 credits for the Diversity and/or Elimination of Bias Requirement for CA, NY, NJ and WV. Credit for all other states is available on request pending approval. 1.0 SHRM credit is also available.
