Federal Government Relations Team Secures Successes for Firm Clients in the Federal FY16 Spending Bill

Robert L. Shuster, James C. Wiltraut, Jr. and Terrence Heubert secured significant successes for a variety of clients in the Federal FY16 spending bill released by Congress Tuesday night. The bill includes more than $40 million for firm clients that will support a variety of activities, including military technology development and enhancements to steel forging capabilities that will improve the delivery of ship components to America’s Navy.

Buchanan's federal government relations team also secured policy provisions for clients that will, among other things, challenge the EPA's requirement of low sulfur fuel for short sea shipping and make client products eligible for the government to purchase.
