Christian Antkowiak, counsel in Buchanan's Labor & Employment section is quoted in the cover story of the Pittsburgh Business Times regarding the U.S. Department of Labor new overtime rule and the impact on employers. Christian discusses how employers can best handle the transition and compliance.
Christian Antkowiak, counsel at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney PC, said he’s been working with clients “for months” trying to get a game plan in place. But they’re still struggling with the transition. “Do they bring everyone up? Start paying overtime? Hire more people to cut down on overtime?” he asked.

He believes the impact will be significant.
