PHILADELPHIA – May 12, 2021 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney adds public policy strategist Kyle A. Darby, Sr. as advisor in the firm’s Government Relations group. Darby joins Buchanan after several years as a solo practitioner. He previously worked in a number of government relations firms as well as in the office of Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ).

Darby has represented clients before the Philadelphia City Council, Pennsylvania State Legislature and on Capitol Hill. He works to advance the interests of companies and non-profits in real estate and construction, healthcare, advocacy, entertainment, professional sports, medical cannabis, technology, and logistics. Darby has also worked on criminal justice reform, having served as the government relations strategist for REFORM Alliance. This experience allowed him to work closely with state and federal agencies as well as the executive branch, to bring probation and parole reform to impacted states around the country.

Darby received his B.A. in Political Science from Stockton University. He is a member of Philadelphia’s 2nd Ward Democratic Committee and the Washington Government Relations Group.
