Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Adds Three Companies to its Summer Associate Diversity Corporate Share Program

PITTSBURGH – July 14, 2022 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is pleased to announce the addition of Aura, Burlington Stores and Temple University Health System as participants in the second year of the Diversity Corporate Share Program. The other companies that continue to participate in the program include The Hershey Company, PNC Bank, Panasonic, and South Jersey Industries (SJI).

The program pairs the firm’s summer associates, each with a participating corporation for a two-to-four week period, giving each the additional experience of mentorship opportunities from corporate legal counsel.

Buchanan’s summer associate program is an eight-week experience that welcomes students who are considering a career in a large, full-service firm. In addition to the Diversity Corporate Share Program, the summer associates work closely with Buchanan attorneys and have an active role in determining their assignments if they have a strong interest in one area of law. The program also offers networking and professional development opportunities. The 2022 class includes law students from Boston University School of Law, Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, Duquesne University School of Law, Penn State Dickinson School of Law, Temple University Beasley School of Law, University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, and Wake Forest University School of Law.
