On January 27, 2026, we hosted an inspiring event honoring Martin Luther King Jr., dedicated to civic leadership and Black political representation. The program showcased the stories and achievements of influential Black leaders across local, state, and federal levels, emphasizing themes of leadership, civic engagement, and advocacy.

The event aimed to educate and inspire attendees through stories of youth involvement, overcoming racial barriers, and committed public service, fostering a space for reflection on leadership inspired by MLK-era models.

Thank you to everyone who joined as as we celebrated political achievement and explored pathways to civic empowerment.

*Due to snow and icy conditions, the program was transitioned to a completely virtual format
