Fort Lauderdale, FL– Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Howard Allen Cohen has been named a 2012-2013 officer and treasurer of the Underwater Bar Association ("The Dive Bar"). Founded in 2011, The Dive Bar seeks to educate legal professionals on environmental law and issues related to coral reefs, through both scuba diving activities and other events, while also performing philanthropic work.  Mr. Cohen is a PADI Dive master and a boating safety instructor with the United States Power Squadron.

Howard Allen Cohen is a shareholder in the Government, Environment and Real Estate Practice Group.  Mr. Cohen assists clients in all aspects of commercial and residential transactions, including leasing, preparation of condominium documents, title insurance, tax-deferred exchanges, construction contracting, and title matters. He also represents parties in real property litigation, including access, easement, and quiet title disputes.  Mr. Cohen is Board Certified in Real Estate Law by The Florida Bar and is AV peer review rated by Martindale-Hubbell.  He received his B.A. from Rutgers– The State University of New Jersey and his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School.
