On Monday, March 30th, Dr. Alison Bateman-House, PhD MPH, joined us for a discussion about the various ways that unproven medical treatments are being used in response to COVID-19. Dr. Bateman-House is co-chair of the NYU Grossman School of Medicine Working Group on Compassionate Use and Preapproval Access (CUPA), an academic group that conducts research, develops policy, and offers education on matters related to access to investigational medical products.
