SEC Order Requiring Sworn Statements by Principal Officers Regarding Accuracy of Company Financial Statements

The SEC has recently issued an order requiring the principal executive officer and principal financial officer of the 947 largest United States publicly traded companies to file written statements, under oath, regarding the accuracy and completeness of certain financial statements and reports. The Order was issued by the SEC in connection with its investigation of the financial statements and accounting practices of large publicly traded companies.
