Tampa, FL – Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Rhea F. Law, CEO and Chair of the Board, was recently selected as a winner of the 2012 Glass Ceiling Award by The Florida Diversity Council at the second annual South Florida Women’s conference on March 2, 2012. 

The Glass Ceiling Awards recognize women who have achieved personal success in leadership roles as well as made it possible for other women to follow in their footsteps. Selection for the awards was based on demonstration of leadership; maintaining a record of accomplishment and steadily increasing career responsibility; exhibiting a positive influence to others; and displaying integrity and portraying the highest ethical standards.

Ms. Law has received numerous other awards including a Proclamation from the Florida Senate for her efforts in economic development, the Southern Economic Development Council Volunteer of the Year Award, the Parke Wright III Leadership Award, Special Service Presidents and Spirit Awards from the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties for contributions to the industry, Florida Economic Development Council Award for Volunteer Contributions and the Service Above Self Award from the Rotary Club.

Ms. Law has more than 30 years experience in Government, Environmental, Administrative & Land Use representation.  Rhea’s practice has grown to include representation of some of the largest mixed use development projects in the State of Florida.  Her representation of developers, landowners, governments, businesses and industries has covered a full range of permitting, entitlement, approvals, and policy creation and implementation.
