Patrick R. Grimm is the Director of Administration for Buchanan, where he plays a critical role in executing operational strategies in areas such as the firm’s real estate portfolio, facilities management, supplier and vendor contracts, competitive intelligence and research services, business continuity, and expense management. Before his appointment as a court administrator, Pat practiced law for several years and was a law clerk for the president judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Washington County, Pennsylvania.

Outside of the firm, Pat is a board member of Summit Legal Aid, a non-profit organization that provides free legal assistance for low-income individuals and victims of domestic violence in seven offices across ten counties in southwestern Pennsylvania as part of the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network, Inc. In 2021, Pat was recognized with the Distinguished Service Award by the Washington County Bar Association for his leadership and extraordinary efforts in leading the judiciary’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring the continuation of essential court services. He was also part of the 2012 class of Leadership Washington County, a leadership management program that identifies emerging leaders in both the public and private sector within the greater Washington County area.

Pat holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science and History from Washington & Jefferson College, and a law degree from Duquesne University School of Law. He resides in McMurray, Pennsylvania, with his wife and two children. Most weekends you will find him rooting for his son’s baseball, basketball, or soccer teams, or enjoying his daughter’s dance or theater performances, or, in the summer, at PNC Park.
