Maria Mager

Maria is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer. She is responsible for the overall financial management of the firm and oversees financial operations, including financial reporting and analytics, cash management, budgeting, negotiating and maintaining credit facilities, billing, collections, internal controls, audits and tax compliance. 

She previously served as the firm’s Director of Financial Analysis and Reporting, where she worked with firm leadership and attorneys to ensure the tools and data were available to interpret their business needs through financial systems and dashboards. She also worked with section and practice group leaders to provide financial reporting and analysis on a client and attorney basis.

Maria joined Buchanan in 2006 and has held various financial management and leadership roles in her 30-plus years of experience in various industries.
