How Lisa Helps Clients
Lisa focuses her practice on employment counseling and litigation. She has experience with various employment and labor matters, including hostile work environment, wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, and just cause. She has counseled clients regarding employee discipline, absenteeism, ADA reasonable accommodations, FMLA, and general best practices. She has handled numerous EEOC and PHRC matters and has represented clients before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and labor arbitrators.
Before joining Buchanan, Lisa served as a law clerk to the Hon. Thomas G. Saylor, Justice at the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, and as Policy Director for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Most recently, she spent a decade as counsel at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Governor’s Office of General Counsel, where she represented the Department of Banking and Securities and the Department of Corrections.

Outside the Office
Originally from Pittsburgh, Lisa moved to Central Pennsylvania after graduating from law school. Outside the office, Lisa enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, two children, and golden retriever, Willow.
