WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 6, 2017 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney continues to bolster its litigation section in the firm's Washington, D.C. office with the addition of Jessica D. Fegan as counsel. She is the second hire from McGuireWoods in as many months, joining shareholder Amy Miller in the same office. Fegan focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and appeals in the District of Columbia and Maryland as well as employment litigation related to federal and state statutes.

"Jessica is an impressive attorney whose experience and understanding of complex cases and the appeals process is a perfect complement to the litigation section and our D.C. office," said Jacqui Fiske Lazo, shareholder and co-head of the Washington, D.C. office.

Fegan began her career as a law clerk to the Honorable Beth P. Gesner of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. and Maryland, as well as several United States district and circuit courts of appeal, and has been named to the Super Lawyers "Washington, D.C.
