Jared L. Gullbergh

In his role as Chief Information Officer, Jared serves as a strategic business leader responsible for the firm’s enterprise technology, information governance, and cybersecurity functions, ensuring technology enables exceptional client service, operational excellence, and sustained competitive advantage. He also leads BuchananInnovate, the firm’s digital solutions center, including BuchananArtifex, the firm’s proprietary generative AI platform, driving the development and adoption of innovative legal-technology solutions.

Jared partners closely with executive leadership to align technology strategy with firm objectives, advance digital transformation initiatives, and foster a culture of innovation that positions Buchanan as a leader in legal technology and digital services.

A member of the firm since 2006, Jared has progressed through increasingly senior leadership roles, most recently serving as Director of Shared IT Services and Information Governance. He brings deep experience across legal technology and operations, with particular expertise in IT service management and governance, project and portfolio management, information governance, process improvement, digital innovation, and organizational change management.

Jared holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences and Technology from The Pennsylvania State University and maintains an extensive portfolio of professional certifications, including the ITIL® 4 Master designation—an advanced credential recognizing demonstrated expertise in strategic IT leadership and enterprise service management, held by only a few thousand professionals worldwide.
