If I’d only known what it would turn into - Copyright, Licenses and Works Made for Hire

And now for something different, a cross-post to Gurwin’s Keyboard, where our colleague David Gurwin talks about copyright licenses, works made for hire and accounting(!), in the context of the This is Spinal Tap lawsuit.

This lawsuit about a much loved movie, though not a start-up topic, may end up turning on the agreements signed way back before anyone knew what it would turn into (which is a start-up topic we’ve covered more than once).
