How Ibrahima Helps Clients

Ibrahima Diedhiou is a USPTO-registered Patent Agent with more than a decade of combined intellectual property and engineering experience. With a background in electrical engineering and applied physics, he advises clients on patent strategy and prosecution across a wide range of technologies, including telecommunications, semiconductors, software, optics, renewable energy, and advanced manufacturing.

Before joining the firm, Ibrahima worked in a firm as a Registered Patent Agent, where he drafted and prosecuted numerous U.S. and international patent applications, managed responses to USPTO rejections, and collaborated with inventors and R&D teams to transform complex technologies into clear, enforceable intellectual property.

Earlier in his career, Ibrahima served as a Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, where he reviewed hundreds of applications and granted patents in high-technology fields such as optical systems, MEMS devices, and display technologies. This firsthand USPTO experience gives him unique insight into how examiners evaluate applications and how to craft claims that stand up to scrutiny.

What Clients Can Expect

Clients working with Ibrahima can expect a collaborative and technically savvy approach to patent prosecution. He treats every invention as a strategic asset, working closely with inventors, R&D teams, and attorneys to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, defensible claims. He is known for his responsiveness, attention to detail, and ability to balance legal precision with business objectives.

Whether drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications or conducting prior art and freedom-to-operate analyses, Ibrahima focuses on building strong, enforceable portfolios that advance each client’s innovation and growth goals.

I strive to bridge the gap between cutting-edge innovation and effective intellectual property strategy so that great ideas become protected assets.

Outside the Office

Outside of his practice, Ibrahima enjoys spending time with his family and exploring new technologies that bridge engineering and sustainability. He is passionate about mentoring emerging professionals in STEM and intellectual property fields and is committed to community service initiatives that promote education and innovation.
