Emily concentrates her practice on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including but not limited to discrimination, retaliation, harassment matters at the state and federal court and relevant agencies.

Prior to joining Buchanan, Emily was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Samuel P. Murray at the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas where she drafted orders and opinions on criminal, civil, and orphans’ court matters.

Emily has keen insight on the needs of her clients. During a secondment, Emily was the Interim Employment & Litigation Counsel to Louis Vuitton covering the United States and Canada.  Emily counseled members of the human resources team, legal team, and executive suite on litigation, policies, and legislation.

Emily enjoys walks in the park with her goldendoodle and spending time with her husband.

• Secured motion to dismiss in a breach of contract, fraudulent inducement and promissory estoppel case where the plaintiff employee tried to rely upon a verbal employment agreement and employee handbook as evidence of a contract for employment.
• Won motion to compel arbitration for corporate client in suit alleging racial discrimination and retaliation claims.
