Daniel represents clients in a broad spectrum of labor and employment-related matters, including claims brought under California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, and discrimination claims. Daniel defends clients against individual and class action wage-and-hour lawsuits. 

Prior to law school, Daniel served 20 years as an officer in the US Navy. He has a wide-array of experience as a leader on ships and duty stations around the world. He focuses the discipline and dedication that led to a successful military career on achieving the best result for his clients.

Outside the Office

Daniel is a lifelong baseball and fan and die-hard Padres supporter. He and his wife, Jes, own and operate Ale Tales Taproom in downtown San Diego, though Daniel primarily provides moral support and quality assurance. Daniel serves on the board of At Your 6, a non-profit focused on providing care for veterans with Traumatic Brain Injuries.
