How Chelsea Helps Clients
Chelsea Hollenstein is a member of the firm's Labor, Employment, Benefits & Immigration Section. She focuses her practice on a wide range of labor and employment matters including single-plaintiff discrimination claims, restrictive covenant litigation, and other employment disputes.
Before joining Buchanan, Chelsea practiced with a boutique employment law firm and a Mid-Atlantic firm. She has represented financial institutions, major corporations, closely held businesses, nonprofits, local governments, and individuals in matters involving corporate governance, commercial litigation, 1983 civil rights litigation, and employment issues. Prior to entering private practice, Chelsea clerked for the Honorable Robert N. Opell II in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
During law school, Chelsea served as a Judicial Intern for both the Honorable Eric L. Frank in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Honorable Matthew D. Carrafiello in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. She was a Staff Editor for Temple Law's Political and Civil Rights Law Journal. She interned with the District I Office of the Disciplinary Counsel of Pennsylvania, a small Philadelphia law firm, and in-house for an international chemical company. Chelsea also worked as a Teaching Consultant for Temple's Fox School of Business where she assisted in teaching six semesters of Business Law and Legal Studies courses with class sizes of over 500 undergraduate students.

Outside the Office
In her spare time, Chelsea enjoys the outdoors and advancing her skill set in rock-climbing and golf.
