On February 3, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is partnering with Grant Thornton for a one-hour webinar focusing on the impacts of the CARES Act on healthcare organizations.

When the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) was signed into law on March 27, 2020, it provided many healthcare organizations impacted by COVID-19 with a collective sense of hope and relief, and laid the groundwork for critical financial assistance. For those receiving funds, it also required compliance with reporting and other audits.

Our esteemed panel will help navigate the legal and financial issues pertaining to the CARES Act and CARES Act Compliance, and will provide attendees with a practical guide for moving forward while ensuring they abide by the rules and regulations in place.

Panelists include Heather Alleva, Associate, Healthcare at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney; Brian Bonaviri, Managing Director at Grant Thornton; Tami Radinsky, Partner, Audit at Grant Thornton; Robert Ramsey, Shareholder, Healthcare at Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney; and Erik Shannon, Partner, Strategy & Transactions at Grant Thornton.

Topics to be covered include:

  • Legal Framework and Compliance Issues
  • Financial Implications
  • Reporting and Accounting
  • Business, Operations and Financial Aspects
  • Implications of M&A
  • Q&A
