Buchanan to Co-Sponsor KPMG's Fall 2008 Audit Committee Roundtable

On Tuesday, December 16, 2008, Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney will co-sponsor KPMG's Fall 2008 Audit Committee Roundtable series "Financial Crisis and Risk Oversight: Reassessing Risk in the Wake of Market Turmoil." The discussion will be targeted toward audit committee members and directors, as well as business executives who interact with them.

The event will be made up of highly interactive panel discussions that will address an array of issues related to the financial crisis, such as:

• What are the major financial crisis-related risks that companies may face — particularly those outside of the financial services sector — in the year ahead?
• How are companies addressing these challenges and risks — and what is the role of the audit committee?
• How are companies and boards calibrating risk management and risk oversight processes going forward?

The Audit Committee Roundtable will be held at the Duquesne Club, in Pittsburgh, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There is no fee for the event, and therefore, early registration is encouraged.
