Washington/Alexandria, Va. – September 19, 2014 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney is proud to announce that Shareholder Erin M. Dunston has once again been named to Managing Intellectual Property’s “Top 250 Women in IP” list.

The most prominent female attorneys were chosen based on the rankings of the 2014 edition of IP Stars and after extensive research between June 2013 and April 2014, which included thousands of interviews and surveys by IP partners and law firms across the US. The publication features each winner, highlighting salient case matters, notable clients, career milestones, etc.

Dunston is the Biotechnology Practice Group leader of the firm's Intellectual Property Section. She focuses on inter partes reviews, interferences, district court litigation, opinions and prosecution – primarily in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Her litigation practice includes classic infringement and declaratory judgment cases, as well as Paragraph IV cases.

She earned her law degree from the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
