Tampa, Fla. – March 6, 2018 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney welcomes four attorneys to its Tampa office – the firm’s third largest. Joining the firm are Leslie Wager Hudock, shareholder in the Corporate section, Steven C. Pratico, shareholder in the Litigation section, Leonard H. Johnson, shareholder in the Real Estate section, and Sheada Madani, senior attorney in the Real Estate section.

Hudock, Johnson, Pratico and Madani come to Buchanan from Barnett, Bolt, Kirkwood, Long & Koche. Hudock is a corporate attorney who focuses on complex business transactions, M&A strategies, business operations and corporate finance for clients in the automotive, real estate, hospitality and tourism, and startup space.

Johnson represents banks, borrowers and small and mid-sized businesses in areas of business planning, construction matters, commercial real estate transactions, land use and development, formation of business entities, and sales and acquisition of small companies.

Pratico focuses his commercial litigation practice on business torts, breach of contract matters, disputes between commercial lenders and borrowers, real estate litigation and construction disputes in the banking/lending, construction and technology industries. He has first chair jury trial and bench trial experience throughout Florida, including a recent jury trial victory in Hillsborough County against a Los Angeles-based national retailer.

Madani assists clients in all aspects of commercial real estate, including complex issues related to buying, selling and leasing real estate, contract disputes foreclosures, landlord/tenant matters, and estate planning and trusts for non-taxable estates.
