CHARLOTTE, N.C. / Tampa, Fla. – April 1, 2019 – Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney deepens its bench in response to increasing demand adding J. Keith Jones to the real estate finance team in Charlotte and John R. Stokes to the public finance group in Tampa.

Jones focuses his practice on representation of lenders, master servicers and special servicers in connection with CMBS loans and multifamily housing loans, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He also has extensive experience in REMIC tax law. He received his J.D. and M.B.A from Wake Forest University and his B.A. from Queens University of Charlotte.
Stokes serves as bond, disclosure and underwriter’s counsel for cities, counties, school districts, special districts, healthcare providers and numerous authorities in matters of tax-exempt financing. He represents issuers, lenders, borrowers, trustees and underwriters. He received both his J.D. and B.A. from the University of Florida.
