New York - August 5, 2020 - A Corporate Finance team of Rajiv Khanna and Dan Richey represented Global Emerging Markets (GEM), a Luxembourg-based alternative investment and private equity group, in its extension of a $100 million structured equity line of credit to Utah-based biotechnology company NuView Life Sciences.

The facility provides NuView the right to put shares of its common stock to GEM on demand for up to three years following an initial public offering on a major U.S. securities exchange, providing the company leverage and financial support for any potential IPO.

NuView, which specializes in in cancer diagnostics and theranostics, has had clinical successes with in vivo cancer diagnosis using its proprietary technologies.

GEM has more than $3.4 billion of assets under management around the world. It has recently engaged Buchanan for a number of similar share facility investments focused on U.S. markets.
